Our History

Founded in 1986, C.J. Precision is a precision machine shop located in Phoenix metro area serving the needs of manufacturers around the world. Since that time the company has grown into a fully equipped, state of the art, shop completely equipped with CNC lathes, mills and computerized inspection equipment necessary to maintain our superior level of quality. 30 years later our commitment to excellence in quality with minimal cost to our customers is continued with the skills of Matthew and Nathan Lynch keeping this business truly a family business.

From the very beginning our focus has been on extremely high precision, high quality work made to our customer specifications and delivered on time. This focus has continued into our present day business philosophy and remains as an integral part of our Company Mission.

Our Products

Our ultra high quality handgun grips are designed to fit the single stack, Full Size Colt 1911, Commander Size 1911, Officers Model style and most Colt clones, such as Kimber, Springfield Armory, and a number of custom pistolsmiths. Our options include such things as ambidextrous safety cuts, and mag well cuts for any size grip. Select the options you need from the drop down menu on the "Order Product" page. Sturdy and corrosion resistant, they will serve you well for years to come.

Our Offering

Alumagrips offers distinctive styling and options. Our manufacturing process is so exacting that grips in any of the styles offered will add a unique, high quality look to any 1911 full frame pistol.

Our product is one of the most durable grip available today. The high grade aluminum we use is more durable than any other grip material in its class. Besides its pleasing aesthetics, the grip will stand up to heavy duty usage.

We stock our most popular styles with a color choice of olive gray, black, and clear anodized.

Refund Policy

All returns for refund from our "STANDARD" product line are subject to a 15% restocking fee of product price. Shipping is not refundable on any orders.

Returns from "BUILD-A-GRIP" are accepted only for defect in manufacturing. All cancelled orders are subject to a fee of up to 50% depending on the stage of manufacturing at the time of cancellation.

Grips purchased with our Build-A-Grip interactive web tool are all build to order. They are not a stocked item and have a 2 to 3 week lead time for shipping.
